A few weeks ago, we got together with our Ferguson friends to go out to the lake one evening for a little cookout and fishing. The boys were excited to be going to the lake with Aubrie and Lily. Carter immediately said, "Lily is sleeping in my tent with me!". I had to tell him that we were going to the lake and building a campfire, but not actually spending the night there. I began referring to it as our "almost camping" trip. :-) The guys and kiddos had a fun time fishing while Rachel and I enjoyed a little peace and quiet and conversation. :-) We then roasted hotdogs and made smores. On our way out, we stopped by the marina and fed the ducks and the gigantic carp. It was a great evening out with great friends! I can't believe I didn't take more pictures....oh well....

Our Saturday....
We started our morning off right with some Krispy Kreme....
Then, after we all took a long nap, we headed to the splash park! Love this time of year so we can get out and enjoy all the neat things Bentonville has to offer!
Tried to get a serious picture of these two....not happenin'.....
Then we ended our night doing what we do most every night. All the neighbors come outside and talk while all the kids run around and play from yard to yard running from house to house. Love our little neighborhood friends. :-)

Last Day of School
Collin's Preschool Graduation
Collin graduated from Preschool today! They had such a cute, sweet little program for them. So thankful for all the teachers and staff at Cross Church KDO and for the love they show the kiddos! I had no idea what to expect when I got there. They were all in little caps and gowns and yes, I cried. I have no idea how I am going to handle the first day of kindergarten now. :-) Collin has had such a fantastic year and loves his teachers (Mrs. Julie and Mrs. Lori) and all the kids in his class. The kids walked up to get their diplomas and then they gave out individual awards. The awards all corresponded with a type of candy. Collin got the "Jolly Rancher Award" for always laughing the most and making everyone else laugh too. I guess we may have a class clown on our hands. :-) They then played a slideshow of pictures of the kids and when Collin's pictures came up, he went over, got a rose and came and handed it to me. Yes, I cried again. Oh how I love that little guy! So glad that Courtney and Hayes came for Collin's big day too. We sure missed daddy though. He's in Washington DC.
Love you Collin and we are so excited for your next big adventure into Kindergarten! You will do awesome!

Funny Friday!
Collin came in the house and said, "Mom! Come Look! I killed a worm and smashed it till blood came out!" I said, "Why did you do that?". He said, "Mom, that's just what boys do!"

Collin-"Mom, why do you ALWAYS make us pick up the playroom when you know it will just be a mess again?" (good question....)

The other night before bed, I was reading some bible stories to the boys. I read them the story about Jesus healing the blind man when he spat in his eyes and placed his hands upon him. The boys just thought that was so cool that Jesus would spit on someone. They just laughed and laughed. Next thing I know, I walk back in the bedroom and see Collin holding down Carter in bed trying to spit in his eyes and both of them just laughing hysterically! It was too funny. Never a dull moment in this house and I love it. :-)

Funny Friday!
Somebody got a little too big for his britches. :-) I walked in the boys' bedroom the other day after hearing them laughing hysterically with the door shut. Carter had stuffed 3 or 4 stuffed animals in his clothes and was jumping around on the bed. They thought it was the funniest thing. Love my boys and their crazy ideas!

Look What Came In the Mail This Week!
Our newly renewed passports!!
Can't wait to use these babies! Josh and I are so excited to be able to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary this June in the city where it all began with our proposal......Rome!! So excited to go back that I can hardly wait much longer. We will be spending a wonderful 10 days there and hope to be able to take a train ride up to Cinque Terre this time to see a new place in Italy we haven't been. So blessed that our parents are taking this time off too to watch our two sweet boys!
