Collin's Email from Santa!

Collin got an email from Santa the other day! He was so excited and as you'll see in the video below, it absolutely made his day! Check out this site for the Portable North Pole to have Santa send one to your child. It is so exciting for them. You can download their picture to the site as well as a picture of any item they might have asked for/are getting for Christmas. I'm going to let Carter watch his tonight. :-)
This is a video of Collin watching his the other night.....so priceless! I love the part where a picture of the Criss Cross Crash Track he's been asking for pops up in Santa's book. I love Collin's excitement and can't wait for Christmas morning!

A Visit With Santa

The boys were both sooo excited to see Santa this year. Here is a video of them before we left the house to go visit him.

Once we got there, the anticipation was killing them. They had to sneak out of line to try and catch a glimpse of him.....

The both loved Santa. Collin told him that he wanted a Criss Cross Crash Track.

Carter loved it that Santa gave him chocolate. Santa scored big points with that one!

Christmas at Our House

The Tree

My Dickens Village that sits on top of my kitchen cabinets. I have about 21 houses now! I love collecting these!

The boys' tree. I bought these knitted ornaments last year on clearance from The Perfect Choice here in Bentonville.

The Living Room Mantle

I bought these curly-q things last year too. Love them!

Stockings for 2 good little boys....

The Dining Room mantle. I decided to go with a green/brown theme this year.

Storytime with Mrs. Claus

This morning, I met up with my friends Amy and Rachel along with all our kiddos at School Squared on the Bentonville square for Storytime with Mrs. Claus. It was so cute even though my kids were running around like I had fed them candy canes for breakfast! Oh well, that's how my days go sometimes.

(I think this is the only picture I got of one of my kids sitting still listening to the story)

Mrs. Claus looked so good! She was all decked out for Christmas and was so sweet! She read "Twas The Night Before Christmas"

Collin was trying to kiss up to Mrs. Claus I think.....
While Carter just went in for a sweet little kiss hoping Mrs. Claus will put in a good word for him...

Late Night Treat....

Collin helped me make daddy some chocolate pudding one night. Daddy made the mistake of getting a bowl of it before the boys went to bed, so guess who wanted some then??
My 3 boys enjoying their late night treat.....lexi was trying to get in on it too....

Family Pictures

My friend Katie took our family pictures again this year. Mom and Dad and my sis and her family joined us too. It was freezing cold outside and poor Collin's allergies caused his eyes to swell, but besides that, all went well.

I love this picture....Courtney and I were trying to get the boys to smile by tickling Pa-Pa. :-)

I love my sis!

Obsessed with Tractors......

Carter has an obsession with tractors thanks to my dad. Dad always lets him ride and "drive" the tractor on the farm when my dad goes to feed hay. One day Carter refused to take a nap without his beloved "pa-pa" tractor, so I let him take it with him. He knows the exact direction the hay is supposed to go on the loader, so he panics if it falls off or gets turned the wrong way. He also only wants to play with the blue ones (because that's the color Pa-Pa has). I just had to take a picture of him admiring his precious tractor in his bed. Don't worry....I think Santa is bringing him a bigger one for Christmas..... :-)

Thanksgiving 2010

Our Thanksgiving started the weekend before the actual "turkey day". We headed to Green Forest to Josh's Aunt Mary and Uncle Jerry's house for Thanksgiving with the Siebert family. We had a great time and had soooo much wonderful food. Thanks to Keri Ann for taking all these pictures. I was a bad photographer and didn't even get my camera out of the car!
Here are the guys gearing up for some football...

I love these two....
Collin & Carter taking their football stances....

We had fun playing some board games too.

We spent Thanksgiving Day at my parents' house. We had a great time there as well. All of our family from Texas came up and so we had a great time with everyone together. We ate way too much food, sang some Christmas carols around my mom's new piano, played a ton on the Wii and relaxed a little before almost all of us girls headed out that night to begin our Black Friday shopping! Mom, Kim, Elise, Courtney & I left mom and dad's and headed over to Courtney's house in Springdale for a girls night/day of shopping. There are too many hilarious stories to tell, but the guys all thought we were crazy once they heard about it all. We had sooo much fun though even with the lack of sleep and have a lot of great memories. After we got back to mom and dad's for the rest of the weekend, Collin spent some time out hunting with daddy. He shot a gun for the first time and helped Josh kill a squirrel. He was pretty proud of that even though it freaked me out. Oh well, that's boys for ya.

Pa-Pa's Little Farm Hands

The boys absolutely l.o.v.e. going to my parents' farm. There's just so much to do and it gives me a break because all they want to do is hang out with Pa-Pa and his farm "toys" a.k.a. the 4-wheeler, tractor, etc. ha! On this particular weekend, we were joined by my Uncle Bob, Aunt Brenda and Uncle John for all the fun. Sorry for ALL the pictures, but there were just too many cute ones to pass up!
Riding with Pa-Pa on the 4-wheeler

Uncle Bob tried to get Carter to stick his fingers in this calf's mouth, but he wasn't too sure about it.

Climbing on haybales

Checking out the cows with Aunt Brenda
The boys love Uncle Bob and Aunt Brenda! They took them on ride with them to their house to haul some hay and had a blast. Carter even learned to say both their names, so that was really special. :-)

Riding on one of Pa-pa's old tractors

Absolute Cuteness.....

Carter insisted on holding on to dad and Bob's fingers the WHOLE time. He wouldn't let them out of his sight!
Uncle John brought a new calf in, so we were checking that out.....
and Carter tried to ride it! ha!
