A Sweet Arrangement

So my sister came up with a great idea, and I decided to take her up on it. The 3 boys all go to Kids Day Out at our church on Thursdays from 9-1, but Courtney thought it would be good if we switched off on Mondays watching the boys so every other Monday from 9-1 we each get another break during the week to get errands done, etc. The boys are loving it and it is so cute to watch the 3 of them together. I can't wait until Courtney adds another little one to the bunch in August!

Here they are at snack time

And here they are yesterday in the "fort" that we built in the living room. They absolutely had a blast with that!

My Valentine's

My sweet little Valentine's!

Here are our valentine's we made using my new silhouette cutter. :-)

A Weekend on the Farm

We spent the last weekend in January on the farm. Our family friend, Mickey, came for her annual visit. It's always nice to visit with her and we had a great weekend! I am so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends! It was so beautiful outside that weekend. I think it got up to 70 degrees! Pretty crazy to think that the next week we would get 20 inches of snow!

Me, Mom, Mickey and Courtney
Hudson and Carter got some time with Me-Ma on the 4-wheeler
and so did Mickey! ha!
We spent the afternoon down at the creek letting the boys throw rocks in the water.
The boys are so spoiled!! Me-Ma brought them breakfast in bed! Of course Collin's response was, "We can't eat in here Me-Ma!" :-)

Sharing a Room

Well, on January 15th, Carter got moved to a big boy bed and we moved both boys into the same room. We thought we were going to have a couple more months before we had to do this, but Mr. Carter Evan decided to start climbing out of his crib and watching him do that was scaring me to death! We converted his crib the next day to a big boy bed! We were a little nervous, but Carter has done great! He has even tucked himself in a few nights! He loves his new bed and the boys love sharing a room together now. I just love to stand at the door and listen to them talk and giggle before they fall asleep. It just melts my heart!

One word....Snow.....

First of all I have to apologize for being a bad blogger lately. One of my New Year's resolutions was to try and blog every day....well, I really have blown that one. My laptop is still sick with a virus! Waiting on that to get fixed, but in the meantime, I have a backup for a little bit, so I thought I would get as much blogging in today as I can.

Well, this new year has brought LOTS of the white stuff to Northwest Arkansas. I can't even remember when we had this much snow in 2 months. The boys have loved it and I did to an extent, but enough is enough. I am sooo ready for spring! We have enjoyed our time sledding, making snowmen and eating snow ice cream(I'm embarrassed to say how much), but we are so ready for consistently warm weather to get here so we can just be outside enjoying the beautiful sunshine! Anyways, here are some pictures to highlight "Snowpocalypse 2011".

Around January 10th, we got a light dusting. It was fun, but the boys and I wished for more(boy I wish I could have taken that back!).

This was taken on January 20th when we got a few more inches
This one was taken February 5th. We got about 6 inches of snow or so. We got to build our first snowman of the year!
Carter decided the snowman needed to have his "poppy"(pacifier).
My boys being the boys that they are, quickly converted my nice snowman into a Star Wars Darth Vader snow cave.......It was quite the hit in our neighborhood.
Then on February 9th, we had a record breaking snowfall of 20 inches! It was truly unbelievable, but so pretty and exciting. The whole town pretty much shut down. This was the most snow I had ever seen!
The snow was so deep poor Lexi couldn't even move!
This was our neighbor's car out on the street in front of our house.
The snow on our roof
Collin having a blast!

Some of my Silhouette creations.....

Here are some of my lastest projects I have made with my new Silhouette cutter that I got for my birthday. I feel like a kid with a new toy! It is so much fun to use and to see the finished product. I hope you enjoy and let me know if you would like for me to create anything for you! I heard that Silhouette just came out with an enhancer to allow you to cut fabric too! I am sooo excited about the possibilities with that now! I just need to learn how to sew! :-)

I made these cupcake toppers and banner for my nephew's barnyard birthday party

New Years Eve

We had a great time on New Years Eve. Josh's parents offered to take the boys for the weekend, so we took them up on it and had a great time with the couples from our home group. Such a great group of people to ring in the New Year with!
We started the evening off with some great food and then decided to burn off some calories by playing Just Dance 2 on the Wii. It was sooo much fun and hilarious! I was very hesitant at first but ended up having an absolute blast! Had to bring back my inner cheerleader days! ha! We finished the night with a dance competition between each of the couples and then some karoake. Thanks to the Shoppach's for hosting such a great night!
