2011 Fall Family Pictures

I just realized that I never posted all of our Fall Family Pictures!  My wonderful friend, Katie Cole, took our pictures again this year.  We had a fun time walking down the Crystal Bridges trail and spending the day together.

Carter's New Year's Resolution

Carter's New Year's Resolution this year was to be potty trained, and by January 2nd he had already fulfilled his resolution!!  Potty Trained!!! Yippee!!!  He has done SO great and just goes in and goes all by himself without me prompting him.  Santa had brought him some new superhero underwear for Christmas, so that motivation proved VERY effective because he was desperate to wear them.  New Years weekend he just started going and wanted to wear his new underwear.
Way to go Carter!!

Showing off some of his new underwear.  Love that tush!

Our Fun Day with The Boys!

On Saturday, Josh and I each had a special day with the boys.  Collin actually wanted to hang out with me and not go with daddy to shoot guns!  I couldn't believe it, so I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to spend the day with my little man. :-)  We went furniture shopping, to Chuck E. Cheese, to TCBY for ice cream and then met up with daddy and Carter at Pizza Hut for dinner.  It was a big day, and we had a great time!
Collin thought this chair at IO Metro was funny.  He felt like a king sitting in it. :-)

Carter and Daddy had a big day out with some of the guys from the office shooting guns out at Kevin's house.  Kevin and Laura have some chickens that Carter was interested in too.  He had a big day with daddy and wouldn't quit talking about it when I saw him.

Oh, this kid.  He has the funniest personality!

Cotton Bowl 2012!

We had a fun night Friday night watching the Razorbacks win the Cotton Bowl (on tv).  Cousin Johnathan came over to watch it with us.  The Razorbacks beat Kansas St. 29-16!!  Go Hogs!
Woooo,....Pig.....Sooie!!!

Is it Really January???

The temperatures here have been crazy nice for this time of year, like in the 60's, so the boys have really enjoyed riding their new bikes they got at Christmas and playing outside with friends!

1.2.12- Papa Leaves for Pennsylvania

Papa left to go back to Pennsylvania pipelining.  He and Mimi stopped by on the way to the airport to say goodbye.  We got a few pics before he left.

New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve was bittersweet.  We were excited to get to spend the weekend kid-free in Kansas City, but we were also sad because we were having to take Grandpa and Gigi to the airport to go back to Colorado.  We had a great 10 days with them!

After Josh and I dropped them off at the airport, we headed back into the city.  We just LOVE Kansas City and miss living there so much!  I can't believe it's been a little over 6 years since we moved from there!  We had a great New Years Eve going out to eat and then to the movies to watch Mission Impossible 3-Ghost Protocol.  The next day we got up and did a little shopping at Cabela's, Nebraska Furniture Mart and The Legends mall.  We had a great time, but were SO ready to get back and see the boys!
Headed into downtown over the Broadway Bridge

Of course we just HAD to hit up our favorite Mexican restaurant while we were there.  The name has changed aka Sol Azteca, but the food is still great!

Of course we just had to ring in the New Year with a little sparkling white grape juice! :-)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
