New Year's Eve was bittersweet. We were excited to get to spend the weekend kid-free in Kansas City, but we were also sad because we were having to take Grandpa and Gigi to the airport to go back to Colorado. We had a great 10 days with them!

After Josh and I dropped them off at the airport, we headed back into the city. We just LOVE Kansas City and miss living there so much! I can't believe it's been a little over 6 years since we moved from there! We had a great New Years Eve going out to eat and then to the movies to watch Mission Impossible 3-Ghost Protocol. The next day we got up and did a little shopping at Cabela's, Nebraska Furniture Mart and The Legends mall. We had a great time, but were SO ready to get back and see the boys!

| Of course we just HAD to hit up our favorite Mexican restaurant while we were there. The name has changed aka Sol Azteca, but the food is still great! |
 |
| Of course we just had to ring in the New Year with a little sparkling white grape juice! :-) |
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
